Family Reunion 2013
The Lundbergs are starting to gather
They are coming by RV and plane
It's time for the family reunion
And everyone can hardly wait.
The weather is perfectly scorching
Not a rain cloud up in the blue sky
It's perfect for swimming and Popsicles
Some love their bones hot and dry.
We lace up our runners and stretch out
It's time for some exercise fun.
One mile with a smile, and for RJ--
A record 4:58 run!
A night out for grownups is special
We're talking thick cuts of juicy prime rib
It's especially good on your birthday,
Just be sure to get one with "bone in."
The uncles are grabbing their squirt guns,
You know this means an all-out pool war,
But do not mess with fully-dressed Cynthia
You'll get more than you bargained for!
Everyone wants to hold Charlie
There is a wait line that's 2 miles long
What we need here are more little babies
Meg, Madi, Meli: you're doing your job!
Please don't mind the big heap of doggie
In the middle of our kitchen floor
It's just Jake and his sidekick Trixie
Just listen and you'll hear that dog snore.
Everyone gloved up to get working
We scrubbed and we cleaned til in shone
Now teenagers here in Las Vegas
Have a nice place to call their own home.
You have just one short minute to win it
The games are about to begin
We don't care are if you are the loser
It's the winning we love to rub in!
Uncle Blake has his grill just a sizzlin'
That means that its time for a feast
It's the best French toast, pancakes and bacon
Pass the Nutella and blueberries please!
What we like best about night time
Is movie night out in the yard
We scarf all the flavors of popcorn
(In the house Grandma beats us at cards)
Aunt Lori, you are fantastic
This reunion has been the best
for beds and for food
that has tasted so good
We agree its our best reunion yet!
