Lake Tahoe get away

 When our ski trip to Kellogg fell apart, Tony and I decided to go to Reno and explore Lake Tahoe for the weekend.  It was absolutely stunning!  I loved northern Nevada and the Sierra Nevada mountains.  We discovered great food, Vietnamese Pho, Goat cheese, cherry squash pizza overlooking the lake, Ethiopian beef and injera and El Salvadorian Pupusas.  We hiked and skied in gorgeous snow and enjoyed just being together.  We loved discovering places we'd never seen and learning about the history.  I felt grateful with how well cared-for I felt.  Tony's treatment of me inspires me to to care for others that way.  

Snow Fix

 I doesn't take much time with Amy Kolb to feel inspired, uplifted, and generally better about life.  If you put a bluebird morning of snowshoeing, good food and furniture rearranging into the mix, it's a complete antidepressant.  Less than 24 hours of pure happy and joy.
