The only way our annual lake days can get better is to do them without kids! No kids means total relaxation, gourmet food and uninterrupted meaningful gospel discussions. It's so fun to add Kim and Brad to the group. They change the chemistry in the positive way Jeff did when he and Betsy got married. We had gorgeous, overcast slightly cloudy weather. My favorite day was cool and rainy. My favorite meal was grilled peaches with buratta with pistachio and honey. My favorite day was Sunday when we toured the venue for Jonah's wedding. Thank goodness for Jonah's wedding so leaving wasn't so hard. The blessing of covenant keeping friends continues to fill me with awe and gratitude.
