Lake Night

First Week of School

The first week of school comes early in August.  This year it was on Max's birthday, August 12, his senior year.  We had a good week.  The second picture is the only pic we could get of Sam.  You can see him through the back window -walking away.  Sneaky mom got a picutre of the Freshman walking away from his Mom dropping him off in a STATION WAGON (the horror).

Lake Night

On Friday day night we went to Sand Hollow resevoir and had a blast.  No wind and hardly any boats.  It was perfect temp and we surfed into the night.  The moon came up on one side and flashed light across the water while the fire red mountains on the opposite side reflected the recent sunset.  Max brought Cole, Jackson, Brady, and Mac.  Eliza and mom came too.  What a fantastic end to the week.  A family that boats together stays together.  It is hard to beat that.

We are just starting to catch our groove in St George.

        Late Anniversary at Shakespeare Festival

Ideal weather.  Kelly could not stop smiling.  Weather that reminder her of home.  We went to a play in Cedar city last night at Southern Utah University to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary.  We went to play 29 years ago on our honeymoon.  The campus looked stellar and the venue for the play was a "outdoor" theatre-but the theatre was in the round and just the top was open.   We saw Shakespeares "A comedy of Error".  The energy of the cast provided a great performance.  I am so glad that we were able to go to a play in our current COVID conditions.  We also stopped and got some cinnamon rolls and dark chocolate.
