February News

Here are the Lundberg family February highlights:

Cooper James turns 16!  Within 24 hours of turning 16,  Cooper recieived his license, cleverly asked a friend to prom (she said yes!),  and got caught and punished for taking a car without permission.  It was a significant and memorable birthday.

Tony and Kelly enjoy a date with Kimberly and Dustin (and the 5th wheelin' brother Jeff) to see their sister in law Stacey in “Les Miserables.”  It was an awesome night!  We were super proud of Stacey.

Marcos is officially done with speech therapy at school and now corrects his friends on their /r/ sounds.

Wilson was accepted to Idaho State University.  He sure would like to play football for the former Whitman County coach, and plans to give it a try.

The Lundbergs participate in their annual Valentine cookie exchange and Chinese New Year Celebration.

Tony begins practice in his new clinic in Tekoa.  It has been a very busy, but positive change and many of his Garfield patients have followed him to his new location.

Max memorized a 46 line poem by Robert Louis Stevenson entitled, “Travel” to present  for the the Speech Contest.  He did not win the contest, but we were so proud of his hard work.  Plus, he learned a lot of cool words like, “palanquin,”  and “minaret.”  He did win the Valentine box contest with his awesome shark box!

Eliza finished her volleyball season strong.  Be sure to ask her about the giant fluffy Valentine owl she received from an admirer, because it is priceless to see her blush!

Kelly makes three important discoveries this month: an amazing recipe for Meyer Lemon Cookies (see attached), Amazon Pantry (ships groceries to your door!) and a deeper love for the Doctrine and Covenants (seminary miracle).
