Happy Valentines Day

We woke up to a beautiful Valentines day snow this morning.  It stormed all day, and blessed us with a quiet night at home--no youth activities or distractions. I attended my very last elementary school party and taught all the amor related Spanish I could think of.  Today was also significant because our sweet neighbor and adopted grandma LaRena passed away this morning. We will celebrate her life next week.  We will miss her.  Cooper very thoughtfully sent a flower to his sister today, because he thought it would make her happy and cheer her up.  Made me stinking happy.  This is our 25th Valentines day and I'm deep in love with my sweetheart.  Not the sticky, sappy, he's the most wonderful -thing -on -the-planet, love.  The kind where I can lay beside him in the dark holding his hand and feel totally safe and peaceful and excited about what we have ahead of us. The kind where we like to exercise together, eat together, teach together.  Its nothing I ever imagined love to be, and its better than anything I dreamed.
