Merry 2013

December was an interesting mix of happy and very very sad.  This December we lost two young moms in St John.  Ruth Leritte was killed in an car accident and two weeks later my friend Tifiny took her life.  These moms left 4 young children and heartaches.  Two funerals in two weeks took a lot of life out of the holiday season.   The last day of school, the snow blanketed our lovely wheat fields.  It only lasted a few days, but it was beautiful.

Santa was pretty ambitious this year and wrapped all the gifts and left them under the tree.  He left a camera and waterski for Eliza, nerf guns and scooters for Max and Marcos, a midi controller for Wilson to write music and a speaker for Cooper.  Everyone was grateful and and as excited with the gifts they gave as with those they received.   It was nice to sleep until 7:30 and slow Christmas morning down--the benefits of the kids growing older.

Christmas Eve Ice skating was as successful as always.  We especially loved the babies on ice!
