We packed a weeks worth of memories into quick trip to Utah last weekend. We arrived Friday evening and got to meet little Henry for the first time. We are all in love. Poor Callie was really sick, buts being well cared for by her sweet Mom. We spent that night with Tyler and Chelsea. Tyler, Evan, Max and Tony got up early for a mountain bike ride. Tony said it kicked his butt, but Max did a great job keeping up. Tony told a great story about looking over his shoulder to see a high school girl gaining on him. It was all the incentive he needed! While the guys went mountain biking, Marcos got to play with Adam and Eliza and I went to Callie's shower. It was lovely to see her honored. We even had a fun shopping trip with Amy and Audrey. Eliza thought it was an omen that she found a T-shirt that said: "London is calling."
This trip also was a tender mercy. One week before we left Tony found out that his ATLS certification was expiring. By a small miracle, I found a class held at the U of U the very afternoon we were there, and it didn't interfere with the football game! Tony passed the test and was back in Provo by dinner. Tony and the boys had a great time at the football game that night, despite a loss. Sunday we attended the baby blessing and were home in time for seminary.
It was a blessing to see Jake and Callie and Henry, spend time with Tyler and Chelsea, Debbie and Rand, cousins and bet together as a family.
