We ran away from home this weekend. It was a mental health check for Tony and what I termed a joy journey. We started on Thursday with plates of taquitos hand off we went!
First stop was the temple. Thanks to our cousin Livia, we did family name baptisms at the Portland temple. Afterward we went for dinner at Max's favorite: a steak house. It was worth it to see Max's "steak dance." We checked into our hotel room and went for a swim.
The next morning we stopped by McMinnville to see James grave. It was beautiful and peaceful.

We visited the Tillamook National Forest and loved it! We can't wait to go back and do some hiking.
Tony Max and Marcos lived the dream and went to an NBA game. Trailblazers lost to the Nets in the last few seconds. The game was awesome, but the price of popcorn was exorbitant.
We climbed the dunes at Pacific City. It was windy, but we've been in worse weather.
