labor day, smokey day

We wrapped up summer with a day at Couer d lane lake with Hainsworths.  It was oddly hazy from all the smoke, but relaxing just the same.  Our favorite tradition of lunch at Hudsons was a highlight of the day.  Summer is always hard to see end.  Goodbye ice cream, peach cobbler and fresh pico de gallo.  Goodbye naps in the hammock and beautiful Rock Lake.

It was a wonderful day spent moving Coop into his dorm and watching him adult. We could not be more proud and are anxious to watch his journey.  

We are also excited to see how our sophomore, 8th grader and 5th grader grow this year!
