After a lovely morning attending our second temple "healing" in a month, this time for my cousin Kimberly and her new husband Lon, we spent a cozy afternoon making applesauce with the family.  It is a superhuman effort to gather the family to do this project but the delicious smell and happy family feelings are worth the effort.

Our Trick or Treaters this year included a Fox (Eliza), a Skeleton Snowboarder (Max) and a Knight (Marcos).  Cooper went as a black shadow.  At 7:00 all my kids were out trick or treating with friends and I was tucked in front of the fire with a good book, while Tony answered the door.  It was another reminder of this new phase of parenting that we are in--and I like it!  Wilson spent the evening with his friend Louis White,  our 80 year old neighbor, getting dating advice.  It was really sweet. 

Cussing 101

Big M(max) "You don't know how to cuss do you?" little m(marcos) "yes I do." Big M "show me." --no sound-- Big M " See I told you- you don't know how to cuss". Little m "I said it under the covers" Big M "I don't believe you." Dad enters the room. "Max come here - I heard everything. Soap will help you remember not to cuss or teach someone to cuss".
