To celebrate Dad's 80th birthday Tony has been so excited to take him to Katherine's. It did not disappoint. The lamb, fish and spinach salad are the best we've ever had. We enjoyed every bite including the chocolate mousse cake. It was fun to make that memory with mom and dad. His gift was a commitment to a family trip in November, and a pair of aviator glasses. Dad told us a great story about wanting to do 3 things for his 80th: a pickleball game, a lengthy swim and a horseride. The pickleball game he and Tony enjoyed together. He swam at the rec center. The horseride happened down the street when Dad went to give a young cowboy his old heading and heeling ropes, the guy inexplicably offered him a ride on his $20,000 horse. Even more inexplicably, Dad accepted and had a one man parade down his street. Grateful to have this time with our parents.
