Abuelita turns 98!

Despite Mom's warnings for the last 5 years that "this is probably the last time you will ever see Grandma alive," Abuelita as we call her is still kicking'! yesterday we celebrated her 98th birthday with 4 of Aunt Clara's kids and Uncle Bob and Kathy. One of the highlights was Clara's command to Grandma to blow out the cake of 98 candles "before you burn your face off!" The Riplets were a definite highlight of the party and we all enjoyed seeing our cousins and their kids. I think it is very likely Grandma will be here to welcome Mom and Dad. we
