I heard a great conversation between Wilson and Cooper this week. They were arguing which parent was more important.
Cooper: "Dad is the most important because he works and gives us money."
Wilson: "If Mom didn't do the laundry and cook Dad couldn't go to work--he'd be late and dirty all the time."
Cooper: "true. But if Dad didn't get money for food no one could eat."
Wilson: "Dad couldn't go to work and take care of the house. I still think Mom is more important."
They get it. I Wish all the divorcing parents in town understood this eternal plan as well as my boys.

Doesn't it seem so simple coming out of their mouths.
